Is ZeeOS a good Itium alternative?
Yes. ZeeOS covers what Itium fleets rely on: Citrix, Omnissa Horizon and Microsoft RDP sessions, a central management console and remote updates. Try it free on your own terminals and see for yourself.
Can we install ZeeOS on Itium thin clients?
Yes. ZeeOS runs on any 64-bit x86 device, which includes the Itium 4100, 6050, 6070, 7050 and AIO 22. It installs from a USB drive or over the network.
What about the PCs we converted with EasyConv64?
They are standard 64-bit PCs, so ZeeOS installs on them the same way as on your Itium terminals.
What can replace IAS or Web IAS?
The ZeeOS Web Management Console. It is included with ZeeOS and covers the same jobs: device groups, configurations, remote updates and remote control.
Is there still support for Itium now that Impact Technologies is no longer in business?
We don't know yet. No plan for Itium support has been made public. If you have a maintenance contract, check whether it is still honoured.
Will my Itium terminals keep working with Citrix?
Yes, for now. On ITL64, the last Citrix client Impact Technologies released is Workspace app 24.11, which reached Citrix end of life on 13 June 2026. Your next Citrix server upgrade is when that becomes a problem.
